Pasadena Chief Talks about Police Reform and Deadly Force and Call for Investigation

Pasadena Police Chief Philip Sanchez in April 2012 Discussed the Pasadena Police Dept.'s procedures, policies and changes on the use of Deadly Force with  Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President and Hutchinson Report Host Earl Ofari Hutchinson on his radio show, The Hutchinson Report.
The conversation is especially instructive given the recent controversial death of an alleged mentally challenged African-American man, Reginald Thomas in an altercation with Pasadena officers.
"The Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable," says Hutchinson, "has called for a fast track investigation by Pasadena Chief Sanchez with full transparency and full public disclosure to determine if the use of  force by the six Pasadena officers involved violated the policies and practices of the department on the use of force."
