Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey on Police Misconduct Cases



Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey promised a thorough review of all allegations of police misconduct by her office. Lacey discussed her office’s handling of these cases in light of the Christopher Dorner case. “We take all investigations of misconduct seriously,” said Lacey, “and our investigations are thorough and transparent.”

 Lacey discussed police misconduct cases, three strikes, the death penalty and hate crime cases with Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson on Friday, February 22 on his weekly Hutchinson Report public affairs radio show at 9:00 AM Fridays on KTYM-1460 AM Radio, streamed globally on  

“Civil rights  leaders in Los Angeles have long been deeply concerned about the aggressive in the investigation of police misconduct cases by the D.A.’s office,”  says Hutchinson, “ L.A. County District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s assurance that these cases will be vigorously investigate is welcome and timely.”
