- Born & lived in Alabama til 1963; moved to California 1969 from Michigan. For many yrs. I've been very concerned with issues re: (1) Black males, (2) Black families, (3) Black Race. With the current climate, I feel the need to do more than gripe/pay lip service. My desire is to be actively involved with an organization that has its pulse/focus on the state of affairs (locally, nationally, globally) as they pertain to Black/African-Americans, and an agenda focusing on ending results. Politically--very disenchanted and disheartened.
