The Civil Rights Justice Award

On Sunday, May 6, at 6:00 PM, at the Veterans Administration Hospice in North Hills, the Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable will present noted civil rights activist and NAACP National Board member Willis Edwards with the Civil Rights Justice Award. The award will commemorate Edward’s four plus decades of civil rights activism and his tireless efforts in the fight for equality and justice.

The Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable strongly feels it’s important to honor our freedom fighters during their lifetime. Edwards currently is waging a major health challenge battle. For the past several weeks he has been hospitalized at the Veteran’s Administration Hospice in North Hills.
