Rush Limbaugh Show Sponsors Targeted

Hutchinson Report Network President Earl Ofari Hutchinson on Friday, March 2 slammed talk show host Rush Limbaugh for his continual inflammatory racist, sexist and homophobic on-air rants, quips and digs. Limbaugh stepped far over the bounds of broadcast propriety and possible legality with his demeaning and insulting branding of Georgetown Law Student Sandra Fluke “a slut.” There is only one response that will get Limbaugh and other shock radio talk show hosts attention and that’s for the public to voice their displeasure with their sponsors over their on-air hateful insults. One sponsor, Sleep Trim Mattress, has already cancelled their sponsorship of the Rush Limbaugh show.

“The Hutchinson Newsmaker Network has listed the names and contact information for the Rush Limbaugh show’s sponsors” says Hutchinson, ”and urges the public to express their opposition to the misuse of the airwaves by Limbaugh for hateful, demeaning personal attacks.
