Civil Rights Leaders and Family Members Call on Inglewood City Council to Offer Massive Reward in Murder of Rap Artist Montae Talbert

Plan to Meet With Inglewood Mayor and Make Reward Request at City Council Meeting Tuesday Night

Earl Ofari Hutchinson, President Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable and Eddie Jones, President, Los Angeles Civil Rights Assn. plan to meet with Inglewood Mayor James Butts on Tuesday, May 17 at 5:00 PM to request that the city offer a massive reward for information leading to the capture of the killer(s) of popular rap artist Montae Talbert. Civil rights leaders and family members will make a formal request for the reward offer at the city council meeting Tuesday, starting at 7:00PM.

“Talbert was a popular rap artist whose music and dance had a positive influence on many young persons locally and nationally, “says Hutchinson and Jones, “The offering of a massive reward by Inglewood will offer strong assurance to Talbert’s grieving family, and his many fans and admirers that there will be a speedy apprehension of the killer(s).”
